Why Persons Get Angry with God. Part [7] 03/09/2025 (Evening thought)

Isaiah 59: 11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.

Isaiah 59:13 In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. 15 Yea, truth fails; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

The travesty of justice against persons who we may view as being innocent, are scheduled to ramp up significantly, therefore, before we too also get vexed and angry with God, for Him not intervening when we think He should, let us see what the Bible has to say about situations such as these.

Again, you will often hear it on the news, and also in Christian circles where someone might declare that innocent lives were lost in this or that massacre, or innocent individuals perished in this or that war. Now, even though we are to respect the opinions of others, it is not within our purview as finite mortals to declare anyone innocent or guilty. Only God can do this. Therefore, any and all determinations about innocence, or guilt are best left with God, who sees and knows all.

Ecclesiastes 5: 8 If you see the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regards it; and there be higher than they.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
