Conditions Of Answered prayer. Part [1] 07/08/2021 (Morning thought)

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Some Christians may often become bewildered as to why their prayers are not being answered, or if they are answered, why does it take so long. We might not be able to give an explanation in every situation, but what we do know is that there are certain conditions for answered prayer which are to be fulfilled in order to expect results.

Prayer is one of the vital lines of communication between God and man, and therefore it’s important that those channels be clear and unobstructed at all times. Our consciences must not be seared with any known or deliberate sin and asking in harmony with God’s will is a must, but, because folks are climbing Jacob’s ladder, we may not get these prerequisites right every time.

So, God has gone ahead and made provision for the situations where we may ask incorrectly by allowing His Holy Spirit to make intercession for us according to His will. This facility clears up the inconsistencies, the misunderstandings, and the inexperience that may plague the believer from time to time, so that we can still ask with confidence.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
