Expect A Blessing. Part [4] 03/15/2025 (Evening thought)

Matthew 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

According to the Scriptures, it is not even necessary for Him to be present at any particular location, for God is omnipresent, and therefore, His miracles and blessings could transcend any specific geographical location, or restriction. The reason why Christ marveled at the man’s faith is because the man had the correct perspective on the power of God, which incorporates the essentials of no limits whatsoever, and absolutely no restrictions. In other words, as faith lays hold on Omnipotence it believes and understands that God can do anything.

However, we stated earlier that the track of faith lies very close to the track of presumption and therefore we need to study another scenario, so that we could manage our expectations prudently. Just because God could do anything, and since He is The Sovereign owner of everything on our planet He can, and He often gives believers things for free, yet, because we are immersed in earthly systems, ways and means, we must harbor balanced, and realistic views, and perspectives.

For instance, if a Christian needs a house, he should expect to pay for it, just like anyone else, following the mortgage application processes, with his down payment for we are not to believe that just because God is Sovereign owner, that we will just move into a home without paying. That is not faith, it is called squatting.

Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
