Babylon’s Legislative Agenda. Part [16] 9/05/2024 (Morning thought)

2nd Timothy 4:I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

The Christian in our day who decides to follow that which is written in the Bible will begin to experience headwinds of no ordinary character. And let no one be deceived into thinking that it will stop at mere economic boycotts. It won’t, for it is predicted in the Scriptures to deteriorate into a full-blown life, and death matter. Therefore, the you and me in the here and now will have to be prepared to face fines and prosecution as the heat of the furnace is turned up several notches.

If God says it in His word, that should settle it in our minds permanently, and we must let the chips fall where they may. This will call for unswerving faithfulness, integrity, and most of all, a knowledge of the truth so that we would not be carried away by every philosophy and doctrine that is structured to stymie God’s revealed will.  God will grant us grace, and strength to meet every emerging threat to our God-given freedoms, but we must ask for the presence, and power of God’s Holy Spirit, for it’s not by human might and power, but by The Sprit of God alone, that present truths for this generation will be lived and preached.

Therefore, we will end with a quote from the pen of inspiration that we’ll do well to ponder, because the time is now and the place is here. [Signs of the times May 4 1882] The greatest want of this age is the want of men, men who will not be bought or sold; men who are true and honest in their inmost souls. Men who will not fear to call sin by its right name, and to condemn it, in themselves or in others; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right, though the heavens fall.

2nd Timothy 4:For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
