Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
What is spoken of in Revelation chapter 13, will not only be restricted to healings, and false worship. It will also include manifestations and appearances of supposedly departed relatives and friends which we would not be able to distinguish, via our five senses alone, but also by the word of God and by His Spirit.
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness. 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Therefore, as we seek clearer understanding of the issue pertaining to the supernatural and miraculous let us bear in mind, that for every good thing God has given us there is a counterfeit, and as such the onus is on us to study carefully that which is written so that we may be able to stand unshaken. We’ll end our discourse with a passage of Scripture that will encourage us to cooperate with The Lord in the sealing work, which is a settling into the truth, both intellectually and in practice, so that we won’t be moved.
Ephesians 6: 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
