Trapped In 666. Part [6] 06/04/2024 (Morning thought)

Luke 17: 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.

Some persons hurriedly write off Lot’s wife as being too materialistic without giving her a fair shake as to why she had reacted the way she did, albeit a wrong reaction. But to dismiss her summarily, would be to make a grave mistake, not considering the reasons why Jesus says to “Remember Lot’s wife” Think about it for a moment folks, of all the faithful people mentioned in the Bible, Jesus bypasses them all, and reaches back into sacred history and focuses on one person only.

There are faithful persons who went through great tribulation, such as Job, Daniel, and the three Hebrew boys. Yet none of these are not mentioned in the context of the last great conflict upon planet earth. It’s Lot’s wife alone who is singled out by Christ, and because of this, we owe it to ourselves to understand why, in the context of being trapped in 666.

If we were to put ourselves in her shoes, many of us might come up short too, because, if Christ saw it fit to make the insertion in the middle of the prophecy, it means then that the prospect is before us of Lot’s wife’s experience being repeated or even duplicated if 666 becomes goes from prophecy to reality in our day.

Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
