Ezekiel 18: The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, 2 What mean you by using this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, the fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? 3 As I live, saith the Lord God, you shall not have occasion anymore to use this proverb in Israel.
Thus, the question looms large: How does a person reverse generational curses? The answers will be given distinctively and with clarity, so that we could live victoriously from day to day. First though, folks should never ever succumb to the doctrine of devils which says we have fallen too low, so that changes for the better cannot occur.
In other words, the first step in generational curses being reversed is to use our God-given freedom to chose the good over evil. Choosing righteousness is not going to enable us to do righteousness on our own, but our choice opens the door for God to come in and do what only God can do; and that is to make us a new creature.
Generational curses do not bind anyone in an iron destiny from which persons cannot escape. We can absolutely escape, because the grace of God in, and through Christ has been given to force generational curses into reverse gear permanently.
2nd Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
