Psalms 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. 42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
We should never limit the power of God to heal, fix, restore, or purify, because, just as Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, we too will have our own issues of imperfections to deal with, on one level or another. But the good news is that Jesus could put Humpty, Dumpty back together again because this is the very essence of God’s salvation.
Let us not then limit His power, and ability to heal, and let us never permit our issues to make the clear distinctions on gender blurry to the point where the clarity given in the Bible on the matter will become subservient to our feelings and imperfections. If men have a problem with adultery, the solution is not to make adultery legal, for legalizing polygamy to fix the sinful desire for multiple women will only sink us lower in the moral scale.
When Alexander the great had an unnatural craving for alcoholic beverages, the solution couldn’t have been to make booze legal, for by doing so he would be making God’s revealed will, subservient to his cravings and desires. In addition, by legalizing booze he would literally be saying to those under him, that this course of action is right. Similarly, if one has contrary feelings in his or her person, as it pertains to gender and sex issues, the solution is not to make laws that would make such feelings legal.
Proverbs 14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. 34 Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
