2nd Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Even though many of us are hoping to get back to a sense of normalcy, it is quite possible, that in just a few months we could be looking at a very different world. The collateral damage from the pandemic is not going anywhere anytime soon and the political and economic fallout could continue to rattle many already frayed nerves.
In addition, there is much saber-rattling taking place in different places so that the nations of earth could have their hands full while some have already bitten off more than they can chew. The utter inability of political parties to get along, and reach a consensus for the betterment of the country, and the myriad of conspiracy theories that multitudes have bought into, only adds instability to the toxic brew.
Yet, God did not leave us to figure out things on our own, for He has forewarned us that “Perilous times will come”. That statement actually pertains to the here and now, for it is obvious, even to the casual observer, that the condition of our world is now in a much more fragile and unstable state, than it was, just two decades ago.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. “God bless!
