Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
On June 26,2013 the Supreme Court ruled that DOMA, which excludes a same-sex partner from the definition of “spouse”, as that term is used in federal statutes, is unconstitutional, as a deprivation of the equal liberty of persons that is protected by the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. That ruling occurred on June 26, 2013. But, because the diabolical enemy of God and man often employs the proven principle of gradualism in the implementation of his schemes, it would be just a matter of time before societal pressures pushed the envelope even further.
And on June, 26, 2015 the Supreme Court ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges that the 14th Amendment to the constitution requires states to license marriages between two people of the same sex, and also to recognize a marriage between two people of the same sex when their marriage was lawfully licensed and performed out-of-State, thus legalizing same-sex marriage in the United States.
The problem is that from that time to now, many other variations, designations, and identities have clearly emerged, in so much that some are now identifying themselves in the plural such as “They” and others as being non-binary among other identities. So the question is: Can a person adopt any identity they like with no regard to medical and physical determinations? In other words can persons identify themselves as dogs, and what would such a designation look like on a marriage license?
