Psalms 103:2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. 3 Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases; 4 Who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfies thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Verse five of the above passage is of critical importance, for it unmistakably links the renewal of our youth to what we consume, and thus, it’s imperative that we who are living on the brink of eternity do our due diligence and find out exactly what are those “Good things” that God desires to fill our mouths with. There are stories that we would not hear of in the news, nor would we see on television, yet they are true. Come now let us reason together!
If as science says, there are asymptomatic carriers of Covid, then it means that there are those who are infected, yet the disease does not affect them adversely. That’s correct, but if a person is exposed to the disease without being affected, at the very least, that person should test positive. How is it that in one office building, the entire floor of employees came down with Covid, and yet only one person, who had closely interacted the rest of employees was not affected and also tested negative?
If you are now guessing as to that one person’s diet, you got it right. God is trying to reach us with His ideal will, and even though it is written in Leviticus 11 that we can consume clean meats, yet, when those permissions were granted, the earth was in an entirely different state as far as pollution, and animal feed, goes, and thus, the tug of war between it is written and it is spoken continues in many minds, as some ask: “Should we stick with “It is written” or should we follow “It is spoken”, as pertinent information for our day comes from the mouth of God through His end time prophet regarding diets and foods? The answer rests with us!
Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.
May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
