John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Many years ago, I got an antique Jaguar which was to be restored. But the six-cylinder engine it came with could not deliver the horsepower we desired, so I removed it and instead built and installed a competition Chevy engine with transmission, complete with a set of flow masters, and a stall converter. The finished product was a hybrid between a Chevy and a Jaguar, and as the engine rumbled because of the rough idle camshaft, and horsepower, persons would often inquire as to what was under the hood.
I then had to explain that although both products were blended together, yet, the powerful Chevrolet engine remained distinct, even as it sat in the body of the jaguar. After a while the body of the Jaguar began to gather rust, and eventually it was sold to the junk yard, but we before doing so, we removed the Chevy engine, which remained and existed as a distinct, separate, and powerful entity.
On a much more comprehensive and in-depth scale is the blend between divinity and humanity. As we have shown before, Divinity remains distinct, as the perpetual undying powerhouse, yet it sits within the human body, through the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit, delivering tons of Holy Ghost power for believers to live, die, and then be resurrected at the call of God.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!
