Cooperating With God On The Issue Of health. 03/21/2016 (Evening thought)

Exodus 15:26  "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Hello Friends! Here's an explanation and an update on our experiment with the God-ordained diet, which is found in the following two passages of scripture: Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat". And Genesis 3:18 "Thou shalt eat the herb of the field"....

It was never the will of God that flesh foods should become a part of man's diet, however after many centuries of doing so, God finally permitted it, with several stipulations pertaining to clean and unclean meats and fish. Since 1992 we've decided to take God at His word, and we eliminated all flesh and fish foods from our diet. And the results are amazing to say the least! Not only do we continue to break our own records in weight lifting, even as we're growing older, but to a large extent we have avoided the doctor's office, and the natural aging processes have been forestalled in great measure, and in many areas of aging, such as bone loss, diminishing eyesight, and hair loss, we have, and continue to experience amazing results from the ingestion of the food God originally intended for the human family.

So here's a brief break down of what we do, by the grace of God to achieve such results, and we hope that it will be of benefit to one and all: [1] Unquestioning faith in God and His word. [2] Quality time with Jesus early each morning, before taking up the duties of the day. [3] Intense weight training and aerobics early in the morning, using a combination of methods such as muscle confusion, working out opposing muscle groups, alternating between long and short reps, and pumping iron in the red zone (we'll explain later), [4] Eating only two meals per day with approximately seven to eight hours between meals, [5] Absolutely no snacking between meals, just lots of water, [6] No meat, no eggs, no fish, no cheese, no milk; instead we choose from a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains, together with certain protein products, which we will begin to disclose over a period of time. [7] No eating late at night before bedtime. [7] Early to bed, with sufficient hours of R.E.M sleep. [8] Lots of fresh air and plenty sunshine. [9] If we encounter any physical or medical emergencies, we pray first, and God has lots of natural remedies at His disposal, which He reveals to those who ask or seek.

It's important for us to note that this experiment was based on certain passages of scripture, which have for too long been left on the back- burner, or otherwise have not been investigated. Here they are: Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Joshua 14:6 Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him"... 7 Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me".. "to espy out the land"... 10 And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years"... "and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

Now friends, if God could do it for Moses and Caleb, He will be more than willing to do it for you and me, if we will only take Him at His word, knowing that He only gives us what is best for us and our children. We end with a passage of scripture which is worth memorizing. Let's read:

Psalm 103: 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

May God add His blessing to the study and practice of His word. "Good night" and God bless!
