Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Last week we studied how Jesus will cover and wipe away the sins of all persons who truly repented and have accepted Him as Lord and Savior of their lives, walking in obedience to His laws, and the light shed upon their pathway, to the best of their knowledge and ability. That is great news. But this evening we are going in a completely opposite direction, as we observe the proceedings of the executive judgment.
The passage above highlights the sacred truth that there is nothing that is really secret as it pertains to our lives because all of our actions, words, thoughts and intents are recorded in the books of record with uncanny accuracy. When the scripture speaks about the omniscience of God we must never make the mistake of thinking that any minor details would fall through the cracks.
There are no cracks for anything to fall through, and furthermore the level of scrutiny would be far more extensive, and intrusive than any earthly court has ever engaged in. The records in heaven are not only written, there is also live footage of every detail of our lives. Thus, as the records of the lost are revealed in the executive judgment, the saints, under the direction of Christ, will be able to view the facts in real time, as it were.
There are those who may think that somehow, the historical facts of our lives, as recorded in the vaults of heaven may not go in-depth as to reach thoughts and intents, but this is a delusion, because the Bible teaches us the extent to which the scrutiny is being done. Therefore, let’s take a moment of silence and focus on the next two words.
Live Footage.
1st Chronicles 28:9 And thou Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts.
Lamentations 3:60 Thou hast seen all of their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. 61 Thou hast heard their reproach, O Lord, and all their imaginations against me.
Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. In those previous passages, the words imaginations, and thoughts are being referenced in the context of the deep level of observation taking place.
If these thoughts and imaginations are sinful, and are acted upon, or, the choice is made to move forward with implementing them then they are recorded as being actual deeds, even if the individual did not have the opportunity to literally implement them.
Thus, it’s imperative for us to understand the word Imagination: The faculty, or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. Imagination is the ability to produce and simulate novel objects, sensations, and ideas in the mind without any immediate input of the senses.
Therefore, what the Bible is basically saying is that God sees the ideas, and the accompanying imagery as they are being formed in our minds. This level of knowledge defies logic as we know it because in our finite sphere as mortals, we tend to focus more on the byproducts of the mind, such as our words and deeds.
But God takes into account what our minds dwelt upon, and the thoughts and preferences that were harbored, cherished, and also decided upon, deep within the recesses of our minds. In other words, a person does not have to literally do anything sinful for it to be recorded as sin, if the choice has been made in the mind.
Thus, when we read in the book of Revelation, that those who are lost will walk naked, and their shame would be seen, we should understand the depth or seriousness of the statement, especially as it would pertain to those whose lives and history will not be covered by the blood of Christ. Live footage is therefore important for it’s one thing for facts to be written, but verification through live streaming is a definite game-changer.
Therefore the scripture teaches, that at the mouth of at least two witnesses everything would be established; written records, and live footage. Pay close attention to the highlighted words. Let’s read:
Isaiah 65: 6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even into their bosom. 7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore, will I measure their former work into their bosom.
Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
Revelation 15: 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
These following statements taken from the above passages: [1] Thy judgments are made manifest. [2] The people shall be astonished at thee. [3] I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee, are all referring to written records, and live coverage of what took place as it pertains to sin. Up to this point, devils have disguised themselves as seeking the good of the people, and satan himself is regarded by many as the savior of the earth.
But in the final executive judgement, live coverage of what the root and branches have done will be revealed to the world, so that the wicked and the righteous can see for themselves what actually took place. Let’s read:
[G.C pp 666<667] Above the throne is revealed the cross; and like a panoramic view appear the scenes of Adam's temptation and fall, and the successive steps in the great plan of redemption. The Savior's lowly birth; his early life of simplicity and obedience; his baptism in Jordan; the fast and temptation in the wilderness; his public ministry, unfolding to men Heaven's most precious blessings; The days crowded with deeds of love and mercy, the nights of prayer and watching in the solitude of the mountains;
The plotting of envy, hate, and malice which repaid his benefits; the awful, mysterious agony in Gethsemane, beneath the crushing weight of the sins of the whole world; His betrayal into the hands of the murderous mob; the fearful events of that night of horror,—the unresisting prisoner, forsaken by his best-loved disciples, rudely hurried through the streets of Jerusalem;
The Son of God exultingly displayed before Annas, arraigned in the high priest's palace, in the judgment hall of Pilate, before the cowardly and cruel Herod, mocked, insulted, tortured, and condemned to die, all are vividly portrayed. And now before the swaying multitude are revealed the final scenes,—the patient Sufferer treading the path to Calvary;
The Prince of Heaven hanging upon the cross; the haughty priests and the jeering rabble deriding his expiring agony; The supernatural darkness; the heaving earth, the rent rocks, the open graves, marking the moment when the world's Redeemer yielded up his life. The awful spectacle appears just as it was.
Now that it has been established that live footage will be included in the executive judgment, we will study who will be involved in the decision-making processes, what issues will be come up for purposes of litigation, and how, those whose probation have not yet closed, can still avail themselves of God’s grace. Let us start with the very first issue of who would be involved in the decision-making process.
The Father and God, The Son, together with the saints who will be saved would be sitting as judges in the executive Judgment under the auspices of Christ. Supervising the entire processes will be the Father and Son, with the saints under them, being able to view for themselves, the records of persons and of angels, many of these persons whom they currently know. This is an important aspect of the executive judgement, for it is mainly through this process that the tears will be wiped away from our eyes if we are saved.
God’s fairness in dealing with the lost must forever be settled in the minds of the saints, so as to leave no lingering questions about His character. In fact, when we see for ourselves how many times Christ tried to save the lost, and those extreme efforts of The Holy Ghost in trying to bring men to repentance it will be enough, and we will conclude that God is love. Let’s read:
Psalms 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God is judge himself.
2nd Corinthians 5: 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Psalms 49:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
1st Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Next, we would observe what issues will be under consideration as it pertains to the lost; what evils were cherished and their refusals to accept of God’s grace through Christ. Among the lost will be some who may have had good morals, but they never saw their need of Christ, and therefore, their penalties will be considerably lighter than those who indulged in deliberate transgression.
On the other hand those who professed to be God’s people but who lived contrary to His word, and led others astray in wrong paths, will be severely dealt with, for such would have caused others to stumble. On this point, if one chooses to be lost, they should avoid taking down other persons with them, for the responsibility of others’ failures will be partially laid at their feet. Let’s read:
Luke 12: 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
The following therefore are just some of the issues that would be coming up for review in the executive judgment, and they are being given out now so that if any person may currently be in willful, or ignorant violation thereof, we may change course, while we have opportunity to do so. We will explain as we go. Let’s read:
Isaiah 5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! 18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23 Which justify the wicked for reward and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Revelation 22: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Romans 13: 6 For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. 8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Secular persons, as well as Christians, are required by God to pay their fair share of taxes. There have been times when heavy taxes were levelled against the people, in order to support persons in authority, such as in the days of Solomon, king Saul and in the time of Nebuchadnezzar. And there have been times when the multitude had to murmur, because of the heavy financial burdens that were placed upon their shoulders.
Now, even though some of these taxes may be unfair in certain instances, yet, the true Christian will not shirk his or her responsibility, because we are required to obey the laws of the land, except those laws force us into violation of God’s law. Therefore, those who dodge their taxes by keeping secret off-shore accounts down in Cayman islands, or in Swiss banks; those who deliberately inflate their losses on their tax returns in order to procure hefty refunds;
Persons who routinely file claims for phantom relatives, who are summoned from the grave, only to disappear into neverland after April 15th. And anyone who withholds from the government their just dues is in violation of the laws of the Bible, and will surely be called to account in the executive judgment, if they do not repent, for the command for persons to render unto Caesar, is just as much a command as to render unto God, the things which are God’s. Let’s read:
Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 3 And all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
Matthew 17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. 27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
The next and final issue we will address is, how can persons avoid having their names come up in the executive judgment, because, the door of mercy is still open. The study of the executive judgment is a sobering one indeed, but it is necessary for God to put the inhabitants of earth on notice, so that all who so desire may find refuge before it is too late.
No person will be lost arbitrarily, because God has given us the freedom of choice, whilst at the same time, providing the remedy for sin, which is found in none other but Christ Jesus. Therefore, God is never too much concerned with the sickness of sin, as He is with what we do with the remedy. In other words, if persons like Nebuchadnezzar, and Manasseh, Jacob, David, the woman at the well and Peter could be saved in God’s kingdom, there is no reason why the most, vile sinners in our day cannot be saved too.
There are individuals who were once prostitutes who would be present on resurrection morning, and some like Matthew, who worked for the IRS will be there too. God is now calling all the inhabitants of this earth to make our calling and election sure, by finding refuge in Christ, for He is able to save to the guttermost, all them that call upon His name for salvation. In other words, it’s not what we did that would do us in, it’s who we chose not to accept as Savior.
We therefore end with a few passages of scripture that ought to impress upon our hearts the urgency of now, and it is the will of God that all who desire, now appropriate to themselves, the goodness and love of God towards the human family as is clearly manifested in Jesus. Let’s read:
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ezekiel 33: 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
2nd Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.
God Bless!
